Listening to God

Lucado writes that “one of life’s giant-size questions is How can I know what God wants me to do?” Oh, how any times I have asked that and continue to ask that. Daily. How many times have I read the Scriptures, looking for specific answers?

When Saul and Jonathon died, David asked God where he should go. God told him “Hebron.” Oh, I wish God spoke so clearly to me. Or, does God speak that clearly to me and I just don’t hear him?

Lucado urges us to read the Bible to learn what God is trying to tell us. He writes that “The Bible is to God what a surgical glove is to the surgeon. He reaches through them to touch deep within you.” Can I feel God’s touch through the Scriptures?
