Stowell writes of a friend of his giving him fabulous tickets to some coveted sporting event. He writes that he "casually" mentioned his presence at the game in every conversation he could and how he relished every minute of the game. I am not much of a sports fan, but even I can appreciate how incredibly special certain games and sporting events can be.
Yet nothing is as special as God's grace. Why don't we brag about it every chance we get? Why don't we relish it? And why do so many people not even accept it? It would be ludicrous to pass on coveted tickets to a sporting event, yet people pass up the wonderful opportunity of grace every day!
