Out of Alignment

Wilson writes of a car being out of alignment and jumbling all the passengers. Like an automobile, a marriage that is out of alignment will jumble the "passengers." Our children are the "passengers" of our marriage. When our marriage is out of alignment, we have to focus too much of our energy on trying to keep it together.

In addition, when our marriage is out of alignment we are in constant chaos and our children suffer.

This analogy compels me to spend time and energy on keeping my marriage in alignment and shielding my children, the passengers of my marriage, from any temporary periods of instability.

This post was inspired by The Master's Degree by Frank & Bunny Wilson.
